Pistor is “Going-Live” with TRAMPAS in Rothenburg, Switzerland

Pistor AG, a major supplier for bakery, confectionary and catering services, has decided to abrogate his current planning and scheduling system and now plans solely with TRAMPAS, from Rothenburg and Chavornay, throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein. A crucial factor for this decision is that Staedtler-Logistics’ routing and scheduling system is better able to represent the scheduling processes than the previous software. Besides, support from the previous manufacturer was less than convincing.

Founded in 1916 as a purchasing cooperation for bakeries, Pistor has developed into a successful specialist in communal feeding. Besides bakery establishments, Pistor’s clients include large cafeterias, hospitals, schools and homes. The extensive assortment ranges from fresh, frozen and culinary products to kiosk eatables. It’s no wonder, then, that Pistor sets high requirements for the delivery of their products. A telematics system with integrated routing and scheduling interfaces takes care of maintaining high quality while keeping cost expenditure as low as possible. The company already profits from optimized delivery and invoicing processes – with nearly no media discontinuity – as well as improved communication with drivers via short message services (SMS).
